Best Books for Boys Ages 7–12 (Wholesome, High-Interest Reads They’ll Devour)

On a recent family trip to the library, I browsed the middle-grade shelves and found so many books with themes we simply don’t want filling their minds at this age-- witchcraft, murder, rebellion, gore. As a homeschooling family trying to nurture their love of reading while also guarding their hearts, it felt discouraging.
